Arrive at Cusco airport, meet our representative and board our transport directly to the Ollantaytambo train station in the Sacred Valley. Board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), enjoying the fascinating scenery along the sacred Vilcanota River. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and assisted with check-in at your hotel. The balance of the day is yours at leisure to acclimatize at this lower altitude.

Overnight: Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu pueblo)

After an early breakfast, your expert guide will pick you up and walk you to the bus station for the 30-minute ride to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Your professional guide will share in-depth knowledge about the history and mysteries of this enigmatic Inca citadel. After the visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch and free time. In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo station, where a representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a full-day Sacred Valley tour. First, visit the impressive Inca fortress and town of Ollantaytambo. Then, continue to the village of Maras to see the unique circular terraces of Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory. Next, visit the stunning Maras Salt Mines, comprised of thousands of salt pans exploited since Inca times. Finally, visit Chinchero, known for its Inca walls and a local weaving center where you can see traditional techniques and purchase authentic textiles. At the end of the tour, you will be driven to your hotel in Cusco.
