After breakfast at your hotel, our Machupicchu America Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel lobby, board our private transport to Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station according to your travel season. Board the charming and luxury Hiram Bingham train and enjoy the scenic journey to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu pueblo). Enjoy the welcome show aboard with typical dances of the region, Drink the best Peruvian cocktails, experience a unique culinary experience with gourmet lunch on board, live Music show and appreciate the fascinating scenery along the sacred Vilcanota River.

Arrive at Aguas Calientes train station, board the bus and ride for 30 minutes up to the main entrance gate of Machupicchu where you will meet your tour guide and begin a unique experience by exploring one of the New Seven Wonders of the world accompanied with your local expert tour guide who will share all his knowledge about the history, traditions and more that surrounds this mysterious and enigmatic Inca citadel of Machupicchu. After the guided tour is over, board the bus down to Aguas Calientes and enjoy some free time before you board the Vistadome Observatory train along the way back to Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station.

Upon your arrival at the train station, our representative will be waiting for you at the main exit gate, holding a sign with your name. You will then be transferred in our private transport back to your hotel in Urubamba. Overnight: Urubamba or Aguas Calientes. Special note: You can choose your hotel stay at Aguas Calientes or Urubamba.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, then our Machupicchu America Travel expert guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and a new amazing day visiting Ollantaytambo and visit its amazing Inca city known for its impressive architecture and see Inca temples, amazing terraces. Then we will continue our journey to the village of Maras where is located the famous archaeological site of Moray (unique terraces in a circle shape) which contains an important agricultural system. Then we will stop and visit the famous Maras Salt mines (Salineras de Maras). The salt is still extracted in their artisanal form, the Salt Mines are made up of about 3000 small wells that have been exploited since the Inca times and it was an economic exchange way. After these amazing sights, we will drive you to Chinchero, known as the Royal house of Tupac Inca Yupanqui where their original Inca walls are still well preserved, then we will visit a local weaving center and watch a demonstration about their traditional weaving techniques and purchase some authentic handmade textiles like the famous Peruvian Ponchos. Finally, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cusco.
